Genre conventions offer the perfect opportunity to introduce new viewers to "Legend of the Seeker." And in 2011, we're doubling efforts with fan tables, panels, costume parades, and more.

Below are the activities we're planning at some of the conventions. Please contact us if you'd like to organize a fan table or other activities, and to borrow the 'Traveling Legend of the Seeker Banner Stand' we've created for the fan tables. You can also refer to this wiki for ideas, how-to's, templates, etc.

2011 Conventions

• SupaNova Sydney (Sydney, Australia, June): giveaways, contests, cosplays, and more
• London Film & Comicon (London, UK, July): giveaways, 'Legend of the Seeker' and 'The Sword of Truth' daily contests
• Comic-Con International (San Diego, July): cosplays, plus 750 "Legend of the Seeker" bookmarks on the Freebie Table
• WonderCon (San Francisco, April): 'Legend of the Seeker' and 'The Sword of Truth' daily contests, giveaways and more!
• Naples Comicon (Naples, Italy, April): Cosplay, giveaways, food tasting, contests, and "Be a Baneling" make up by special effects make up artist Selene Greco.
• Big Apple Comic-Con (New York, NY, May): giveaways, 'Legend of the Seeker' and 'The Sword of Truth' daily contests, and more!
• ConCarolinas (Charlotte, NC, June): giveaways, fan panel (TBD), and more.

Here are some of the efforts we have worked on in 2010:

• Posters: we'll have 1000 tear away posters with this design (500 for SDCC, 500 for D*C, 500 for NYCC).
• Episodes Giveaway: 500 iTunes cards with "Prophecy & Destiny" distributed at the freebie table for SDCC. Volunteers will also be distributing the iTunes cards (including in costume!). Planning on 2000 postcards for D*C.
• Art Show: We've been encouraging artists to apply to have their fanart displayed at the Comic Con Art Show. And as a special Seeker-themed request, we'll be hosting a Sword of Truth Poster Exhibit at the LotS Consuit Party @ Dragon*Con (more below).
• Legend of the Seeker Party at Dragon*Con: we managed to secure the last consuite for a Legend of the Seeker sponsored party. More info.
